M365 Secure FAQs
As part of updates to how M365 Secure services are ordered and invoiced through Giacom, we’ve pulled together answers to the most common questions. From billing and ordering to what happens next, this page is your go‑to resource for understanding the change.
1. Why are you making these changes?
Following partner feedback, we’re simplifying how M365 Secure services are ordered and invoiced. This makes it easier for you to manage licences, scale services and access a wider range of security solutions.
2. What‘s changing and what’s staying the same?
M365 Secure is moving from a bundled SKU to standalone licences.
What’s changing:
- Services will be ordered individually in Cloud Market
- Your invoice will show separate line items instead of one bundle
What’s staying the same:
- No interruption to service
- No change to the services themselves
- No change to setup or configuration
3. Do I need to do anything?
No action is required for existing services.
For any new orders, please order each service individually in Cloud Market once the change goes live.
4. How will this affect my billing and invoice?
Your invoice will move from one bundled line item to individual products:
- Acronis Backup will appear as Microsoft 365 Email Backup Unlimited
- Vade will appear as 365 Email Security by Vade
- The Microsoft licence line item will depend on the package purchased
5. Will my pricing change?
No. The combined price will remain the same as the original discounted bundle price.
If you purchase Acronis or Vade outside of the Microsoft 365 bundle, the pricing will continue at the same reduced rates as when they were bundled.
- Acronis: £0.85
- Vade: £1.11
Microsoft 365 pricing will be charged separately and remain as advertised in Cloud Market.
6. Can I still order these services from Giacom?
Yes. All services remain available. None are being withdrawn, retired or reaching end of sale.
7. Which M365 Secure bundles are affected?
All Microsoft 365 Secure bundles that include these services are affected, regardless of bundle variation.
8. How do I order additional licences?
Refer to the relevant Knowledgebase articles for provisioning any of the individual services.
9. Will this change affect my billing files or automation?
If you use invoices, billing files, or the Subscription Management Report for billing or automation, you should review these processes, as services will now appear as separate items.
10. Who should I speak to if I want to grow my Microsoft or Security business?
Microsoft growth: Our Microsoft Practice team or your Account Manager.
Security growth: Our Security Practice team or your Account Manager.
