AI Business Solutions
Agent 365: Microsoft is launching Agent 365—a control plane for managing, observing, and securing AI agents across the enterprise. This helps MSPs and customers avoid “shadow AI” by providing governance, compliance, and security for bots and agents built on Microsoft platforms. Every agent gets a digital identity (Agent ID) via Microsoft Entra, ensuring secure access and compliance.

Pre-built Agents: Microsoft is releasing ready-made agents for sales development, employee experience, and SharePoint automation. These can automate prospecting, HR insights, and content management, freeing up human resources for higher-value tasks.

Copilot Updates: Microsoft 365 Copilot now features “Work IQ”—an intelligence layer that understands your company’s data, workflows, and relationships. Copilot can now be used with voice commands, and new agent modes are available in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Microsoft 365 Copilot Business SKU: A game-changer for SMBs! Microsoft introduced a dedicated Copilot Business SKU for up to 300 users at $21 peruser/month, making AI productivity affordable and scalable. Plus, bundled offers combining Microsoft 365 Business (Basic, Standard, Premium) with Copilot Business into a single SKU, with introductory discounts running from December 2025 to March 2026.
Agent Dashboard: Which is now in preview will provide a centralised report on agent usage and adoption across the organisation, supporting better governance.
Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP) for Microsoft 365 Copilot: Now available in preview, will help ensure sensitive information stays protected. Prompts including confidential data will block Copilot and Agents from responding to ensure this information will not be used for grounding in M365 or through the web.
Cloud and AI Platforms
Azure Copilot Agents: Azure Copilot agents are now in private preview for the Azure portal, PowerShell, and CLI, enabling automation and insights for cloud operations.
Fabric Databases & Microsoft SQL Server 2025: Both are now generally available, featuring built-in AI capabilities for faster, smarter data management.

Security & Compliance
Security Copilot included in M365 E5: 400 security compute units (SCUs) per month for every 1k paid seats and up to 10k SCUs per month
Intune enhancements: Microsoft Intune has new features, all in preview or coming soon to preview, that will help IT teams secure, manage and recover endpoints more efficiently including new Security Copilot agents, admin controls and expanded Copilot support.
Defender enhancements: Microsoft Defender offers a host of advancements to its agentic capabilities, providing users with agents that can do phishing triage, threat intelligence, vibe hunting agent and dynamic threat detection.
Purview Enhancements: Microsoft Purview updates will help address the various challenges organisations face when trying to keep their data secure managing fragmented security tools, ensuring compliance across business units and regions, protecting sensitive data without compromising user experience and addressing a shortage of skilled cybersecurity professionals. These updates include: Enhanced Microsoft Purview Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), data security and compliance capabilities for agents, new visibility, controls and experience improvements and new Security Copilot agents.

Entra Enhancements: New agents in preview in the Microsoft Entra include conditional access optimisation, access review, identity risk management and application lifecycle management. Microsoft Entra Agent ID is now in preview via Microsoft Agent 365. An enterprise-grade solution for preventing agent sprawl and protecting AI agent identities and their access to resources.
Security Dashboard for AI: A unified dashboard for AI security posture is now in preview, helping MSPs and customers monitor and manage AI risks in real time. Leaders will gain a clear, consolidated view of AI risks across agents, apps and platforms — eliminating fragmented visibility, disconnected posture insights and governance gaps as AI adoption scales.
Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program Enhancements
Frontier Partner Badge: Microsoft is introducing a new badge for partners at the forefront of AI transformation. MSPs who embrace and internalise AI solutions will be recognised for leadership and innovation.
Customer Zero Approach: Partners are encouraged to become “Customer Zero”—adopting Microsoft AI internally to build expertise and credibility, which can be leveraged in customer engagements.
Partner Skilling Investments: Microsoft is investing in partner training, encouraging MSPs to devote 10–20% of their time to upskilling in cloud and AI technologies for greater innovation and industry leadership.
