CSP Briefings
What are they?
CSP Briefings are designed to help you drive customer acquisition.
Through 90-minute 1-to-many workshops, you can engage multiple customers, delivering valuable insights and demos into Microsoft solutions like Microsoft 365 Copilot and Business Premium.
There are two ways of delivering workshops; the Open Program and the Cloud Accelerator.
How do they benefit customers?
The pre-packaged workshops provide you with opportunities to educate your customers on how Microsoft solutions can enhance efficiency and security.
What funding is available?
You can claim between $1.5-2.5k+ in funding directly from Microsoft through the MCAPS portal (Cloud Accelerator) or via their Co-op marketing funds (Open Program).
How to deliver?
There are two options for accessing CSP Briefings. They are the Open Program and the Cloud Accelerator.
The Open Program
Eligible Co-op partners qualify for incentives for completed briefings. CSP Briefings identify as a ‘customer seminar’ in the Market Development category and are specifically called out as a recommended activity by Microsoft. Review the Co-op Funding Resources site for more details.
Cloud Accelerator
Giacom, as your Indirect Provider, participate in the closed CSP Accelerator Program experience and receive an allocation of incentivised briefings per quarter which we can offer to partners on a first-come-first-served basis. Contact your Account Manager or the modern Work Practice team for more information.

Solutions Assessments are here to help you create a tailored roadmap for improvements and optimisation for your customers. For Modern Work, you have two valuable assessments to choose from: the Copilot Readiness Assessment and the Cybersecurity Assessment.

Are your customers looking to deploy Microsoft 365 Copilot but unsure where to start?
This assessment is designed with them in mind, helping them take the first step towards seamless Copilot adoption.

Process
Once you’ve nominated a customer and the Microsoft Solution Assessment team approves the assessment, the process gets underway!
Using the Block64 tool, we gather key information from the customer’s tenant, covering Secure Scores, current licensing, and app usage across Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
This data is then used to create a score, highlighting opportunities for improvement in security, licensing, and optimisation.
After the assessment is completed, Block64 generates a detailed report, which the Solution Assessment team will review with you – and your customer, if you’d like.
Together, we’ll explore the customer’s Copilot readiness and provide actionable recommendations to help them prepare for Microsoft 365 Copilot adoption.
Duration
Typically, this process can take around 1 to 2 weeks, depending on the size of the organisation and the complexity of their existing Microsoft 365 environment.

The process
When you have a customer ready for nomination, the Microsoft Solution Assessment team will review and approve the assessment to give the green light!
Using a tool called Block64, our team performs an automated scan that gathers and analyses data from all endpoints, file servers, configurations, accounts, firewall settings, installed applications, and operating systems. Block64 also reviews security rights and roles, providing real-time insights into any risks or vulnerabilities.
This information helps us pinpoint urgent priorities, quick wins, and recommended actions. Block64 then generates a detailed assessment report, which our Solution Assessment team will go over with you – and your customer, if you’d like.
Together, we’ll discuss a roadmap to help you set security priorities and boost your customer’s security posture.
Duration
The total estimated time from nomination approval to report delivery for the cyber security assessment is between 1 and 3 weeks depending on the size of the organisation and the complexity of their environment.
