Giacom steps aside as Tigers shirt sponsor but continues excellent partnership for 22/23 season

Giacom have been partnering with Hull City FC since 2020 as the primary shirt sponsor for the Championship football team. For the coming season, we have agreed with Hull City to relinquish our shirt placement to allow the Tigers to complete a club record Championship sponsorship deal.

We are delighted to continue our partnership with the Tigers by sponsoring the new range of training wear.

We are delighted to continue our partnership with the Tigers by sponsoring the new range of training wear. The partnership will also see Giacom continue to deliver fantastic community-focused initiatives that have been a cornerstone of their involvement with Hull City.

Joe Clutterbrook, Hull City’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “Commercial partners like Giacom don’t come around that often.

“From stepping in to support the club in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, to supporting the Tigers Trust and giving their approval to allow us to deliver the ‘blackout’ kit, Giacom have gone above and beyond what could normally be expected from a sponsor of a football club.

“It has been a real privilege to work with the Giacom team over the past few years and not only are we incredibly grateful to them for agreeing to move over to training wear sponsor, we are delighted to be able to continue our journey together into what we all hope will be a very exciting season.”

Mike Wardell, Giacom CEO, said: “As a Hull-based business, supporting the local community is hugely important to us. That’s why we came forward to become Hull City’s Principal Partner and main shirt sponsor.

“We have enjoyed working with Hull City over the past two seasons, supporting the club through the challenges of the pandemic and into the beginning of an exciting new era.

“We recognise it’s now important the club has the right Principal Partnership to move forward at this time and we’re very happy to support this change.

“We’re excited to continue working in partnership with the club and to sponsor the training wear. This will continue a very successful relationship and ensure our brand remains prominent as the club’s profile grows strongly under the Tigers’ ambitious ownership.”

“As a local company, we’re really happy to be continuing our strong relationship with the club.

“We look forward to seeing our branding on the training shirts and are excited for the season ahead and what the future will bring with ourselves and Hull City.”
