Cost crisis mitigated with ProfitaBILLity Service

Union Street Technologies, has launched a new consultancy service to help reseller partners maximise the revenue potential of their customer base whilst driving down costs. The aptly named ‘ProfitaBILLity’ service has, according to Union Street, been developed to help resellers combat rising costs in supply chains.
Chief Financial Officer, Kevin O’Brien commented, “2022 started with a perfect storm of rising costs landing at the same time. 30-year high inflation, the well documented energy crisis, and rising labour costs brought by increasing wages and national insurance contributions, are all putting strain on UK businesses. In addition, the channel is being squeezed by the UK’s technology skills gap and price hikes from Microsoft and Amazon for cloud services. With all things considered, it’s more important than ever for resellers to ensure their billing processes are productive and profitable.”
As part of the ProfitaBILLity service, Union Street’s consultants will review how resellers are using their software to ensure billing processes are as efficient as possible, conducting in depth analysis to identify areas where revenue is being lost and margins could be increased. Following this, they will generate a report that specifies instances of mis-billing or overspending which should be corrected. They will also provide advice on how Union Street’s software can automate parts of the billing and ordering process, ensuring everything is setup correctly and no revenue is missed when provisioning new products and services.
O’Brien added, “Channel businesses are faced with a very hard choice of balancing rising costs with winning and maintaining customers in a highly competitive and price sensitive market. Enhancing the billing process is something that’s perfectly possible for most resellers, but it can be a resource hungry exercise. The ProfitaBILLity service offers a convenient and cost-effective way for resellers to outsource this task to Union Street and, because we have been certified as compliant with Ofcom’s Total Metering and Billing Systems scheme, they can be confident of our expertise and commitment to best practice when it comes to ensuring accuracy.”
